If an approved CNA from an outside state wishes to work in Indiana the applicant is required to take 100 question written and the optional skills final examination. Once the applicant passed the exam and she or he is listed as good standing in his or her home state, the applicant is eligible to be placed on the registry.Indiana State does not provide reciprocity but allow to take and pass the written examination.
