If an approved CNA wishes to work in New Jersey from their home state, the applicant must contact the
New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry to obtain a transfer/reciprocity form. To complete the form and applicant needs to: (1) submit completed training and competency program (2) have a good standing status which means he or she has not been convicted of any crimes and has no documented findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property on that state’s registry (3) have no criminal background during investigation application and (4) contact Pearson Vue Customer Care at 1-800-274-5984 for more information.
